I would not want a casting rod for trolling but it does work. I’ve learned to use my smaller rod on the yak and boat. Unless I’m chucking out those big lures.

I can whisper, how to get them and what to do to get them but 80% of it is actually finding them. 👻🪨 Best places to fish for one is to find where spawn and stack up in numbers. More of a chance at getting them. As with most fish. 👍

They all carry the eggs in the winter so any female has eggs. Some more developed than others but even the skein in sacs works. Eggs work great even some days in the summer.
