Bumping this thread up. I'm planning on doing a short trip into the Nessmuk winter campsite here in a few weeks. Shouldn't involve more than 6 miles hiking in a day and we'll be along native and stocked trout waters for a lot of it, including camp. If anyone is interested, I'll let you know...

They had fenwick travel rods on sale cheap too. I almost bought one awhile ago.

If anyone here is a fan of Paul Harrell, it appears he passed away last night after battling pancreatic cancer. He was one of my favorite "Gun Channels" on YouTube and by all accounts a pretty great guy. RIP and cancer sucks. 😮‍💨

I've been having good luck with the Bass Pro brand hellgrammites on the creeks up this way. I just Texas rig them.

First time out for awhile for me this morning. Fished a pond for a bit and my secret spot near the river. Didn't get anything to brag about. This little guy made me laugh though. His eyes were definitely bigger than his stomach.
