2nd stop was a bust. Only bluegill biting and they were too small to eat what I was throwing. This guy was ambitious though. 😁

It's a 3" hellgrammite, I believe bass pro brand. Every bass I caught was on that plastic Texas rigged weightless. It even got a few nibbles from trout, but that hook is just way too big for them.

My 2 favorite of the trip. 1 for the colors on him. Absolutely beautiful healthy bass. 2 just because I don't know how he didn't break me off with the tackle I was using. I didn't get a measured weight, but definitely over 3lbs and over 20" long. Biggest rod/reel I had was a med weight...

I've been super busy since the weekend, but I did my annual kyack trip sat-mon. We topped 200 fish caught as a group before the end. Maybe I'll make a trip thread, when I have time, but sat the trout were super active in the rain. Nice mix of species caught by all. I didn't get many pics...
