I've hiked around that area and probably crossed it backpacking. I just never really think about fishing that much on those trips. It's very close to the main park. You can follow the stream most all the way down and go as far down as you're comfortable with. Lots of brookies in it. If this group on here were a larger membership group, like facebook I would never have even mentioned the name lol. I've held that one pretty close, it's not well known and the most picturesque run I've ever seen.
You do have to walk the trail down a bit til you see the creek. There is another trailhead right near the intersection of Worlds End Rd. and High Knob called a Nature Trail. That one takes you down to the creek as well. The one I marked on the map is closer to the creek itself.
Alright, after seeing this I know I've been to Angel Falls before. That's on the loyalsock trail.
I'm sure the LT crosses or runs along the stream at a couple points. If you like little native brookies take a pole.I've hiked around that area and probably crossed it backpacking. I just never really think about fishing that much on those trips.
That is a tank of a trout but to be honest, I would not expect that trout to taste good. Nature has its anomalies, that trout fits that bill.Quick few hour trip. I’m going to be traveling a lot and with the rain/cold I had to get out. Would’ve let go but my brother slid down hill and after I took a pic I mumbled something just before he bopped it on rock. I said “I was going to release that”. He said “no we aren’t releasing that.” Well alright, can’t argue now lol. He’s back working but the new gig works 15-20 hrs/week. Maybe if I’m not consumed at work I’ll kill a few deer for him.

I won’t be eating it lol. I gave him some McCormick applewood dry rub lol. If I could’ve spoken faster it would still be swimming. Unless it’s Mahi or Tuna chances are I’m throwing it back lol. That is a tank of a trout but to be honest, I would not expect that trout to taste good. Just didn’t want the Forum to think in all my travels and lack of attention I lost that Midas touch lol. That is a tank of a trout but to be honest, I would not expect that trout to taste good. Nature has its anomalies, that trout fits that bill.
