Pretty much everything that guy said, and A-5s addition, are true as far fish locations at different times and good lures to use ANYWHERE ON PLANET EARTH!!!! OK, what fish species are present may change a bit, but the trout will always do trout things and the bass will always do bass things...

I would fish shallow in the shallow areas and deep in the deep areas ;)

I honor of Boot and fishing in the rain. In fairness, it was on and off showers. If it had been a torrential downpour I'd have stayed home too. Still too cold for yakking and I looked at my waders and laughed. I guess my days of getting in the water before it6warm enough for shorts are...

Me too, but it's not the fish, it's the fisherman. Most places around here you can't slip a piece of paper in between the assholes and the idiots on opening day. They slowly drift away until a week or two later they only come out on weekends. 2 weeks after that they mostly gone.

Have you two compared the locations or areas you are fishing?
