Yes. I open the waterproof boxes and let them air dry after trips if I see any sign of moisture inside. It can happen just from changing lures. Put a wet one away and you've got drops of water in your box. If I didn't open the box or don't see any sign of moisture I usually don't bother...

I started using the waterproof ones back in my wet wading days. Turns out they come in handy when falling out of kayaks too.
