I am so stinking Anxious for 40 degree/+ water and consistent 50/+ air temp

First day off after 3 12s. I wanted to go take a look at Memorial, and maybe Blue Marsh or Speedwell. But I didn't. I just goofed off and did housework all day.

    Little more trolling tackle

That's the downside of being right on the creek. Your only used to moving water ;) I've trolled in the kayak at Sweet Arrow, Memorial, and Lakeside Quarry.

    Spruce Run.

Sometimes more than once a year. Depends on how many times someone brings up explosives and fishing ;)

    Punching, Pitching and flipping

It's burying itself because of the slack in it. When it comes back onto the spool loose that provides the opportunity for it to get out of order, under itself, etc. There are times, with regular spinning gear, that I will pull off a bunch of line, pinch it just ahead of the reel to give it...

    Spruce Run.

That day in your boat at Bear Place, I had enough stuff on my belt to get over 50 years in state prison in NJ. But in PA it's just fine.

    Modern and Dept. Store reel?

Closing the bail by turning the handle induces line twist. Flipping the bail closed manually does not, or at least it's less. That's any spinning reel and has nothing to do with quick fire.

    Trout season 2022

lol, I don't think I've ever caught pickerel in Stocked Trout Water. I have caught trout in Swatara, but it isn't trout water and it's warm water. Those trout are not supposed to be there. The PFBC biologists have said so. So the trout are the ones violating the regs and they should be...

    Trout season 2022

    Modern and Dept. Store reel?

I don't actually use the quick fire feature much. I just open and close the bail manually like any other reel.
