    Modern and Dept. Store reel?

It will work. I have several similar, but I think they are slightly different. Mine are a bit slow for my liking but functional. Their big advantage was that they were inexpensive and reliable.

    Rod power described

Wow, he talks a lot about retrieving faster. That means that I am always fishing for pickerel, even though I say I'm not, and Don never is, even though he claims to be all the time ;)

Is there stuff for pickerel? I catch them on Rapalas and soft plastics. I guess the pickerel out here don't know they are supposed to wait for pickerel gear ;)

    Spinners and Custom Spinners

I love casting under trees and bushes. There's usually something there waiting for a bug or maggot to fall in. The downside is I have left a lot of tackle in trees and bushes. The kayak makes it easier to go get it out, but on moving water that can create other problems.

    AIS. Stop the spread

I usually just let my gear dry out between trips. Most of my spots are in the same water shed, and contain the same stuff. IE Indiantown run which is the main source for Memorial Lake and Marquette Lake empties into Swatara Creek, as does the Quittie. Tulpehocken/Lakeside Quarry are in the...

    New wish book

Well, you are supposed to move them some. It's supposed to look like something rooting in the bottom, not growing out of it. But yeah, in a river or creek you asking to catch the north American continent.

    Kayak Camping Gear

I have a Katadyn Hiker water filter, so I can bring that. Despite having used tents since the 1970's, I'm not a big fan of them. They have always been a PITA. I think I'd like to try the hammock route.

    Kayak Camping Gear

Blackcat and I may try some kayak fishing/camping this year. I camped as a kid into my 20s probably. It ranged from "Crap, we forgot the tent! Oh well." all the way to a fully equipped trailer by the end of it. My brother and I also did some camping as "Indian Guides" which was the YMCA...

Weekly Tackle Talk MLF,BASS, FLW who watches

The last few weeks, out of action, and unable to do anything but sit in front of the tube, I have watched a fair amount of professional fishing on the outdoor channel. But generally, I am not a fan. I like shows and videos where they show me how to do new things or to refine or correct...
