Been working on foam flies. So far had some float for days without sinking. Waiting for some more hooks. Right now been busy that I can’t even tie for myself but when I get time I’ll tie some up for you. Plus will be cheaper than that 3$ popper.

Use a china marker mark your distance then tape the guides on. With a thin strip of masking tape. Then spin the rod and look to see how straight it is also take the rod together and look down both ends.

I got rio on my trout rod. There’s nothing wrong with it. Yes expensive but very nice line. Looks like I might be paying 100 bucks for it in the 10wt.

One thing I’m learning about fly line it’s never good when it’s this cheap. I bought that cheap cabelas stuff and already had the loop ripped off then another knot cut it off as well. Good luck with that. I’ll second scientific angler. So far no problem with it.

It’s funny how them bugs just leave like then in a little bit of cold weather.

So how do you get the weight on it cause I tried that and again the blade never spun right.

I break mine down and just put a hair bungee on it. Then i got straps in the car I hang. My fly rod goes back into the sock. Mine are made to use and beat up.
