So I’ve been reading somewhere that if you kink or bend fluoro really bad that it gets weak. Something that the line can micro fracture. I don’t really use it so those who use it a lot what do you think. Do you look at your line after a snag or a hookup on a fish.

The two from last years find.

Anyone ever get out and try to find any. Evertime I go I never found one. Zig zagged miles threw weeds and brush. Last year I set up a trap and got one then when I went to some trout waters I saw one laying on the side of the road. Seems the best time to find them at least for me is not to look...

They say 6 wraps for the beginning. 6 to 8 wraps to finish up. I think I went 10 to 12 wraps.

Finally did my rods the first was a small trout rod. I took apart and older rod cut it down a little and cut the guides off a made into a fly rod. Did a lot of things wrong with it. Lol. Good thing I did it lol. My 10wt fly rod kit I did a lot better still had problems lining up guides so did...

Now is the time them toothy hit shallow.

I have scientific anglers on my 8wt. Not bad it was cheap enough.

Floating. Big meat flies. 9ft med action. Need something stronger at the tip. Gotta set them big hooks.

What fly lines do you like. Looking at 10wt line and rio is $100 or I can go to Cabela’s and get it for $50. Thoughts.
