Are you talking about the point on the tip. All I know is usually used for jewelry making but I use a small pair of pliers with that point for split rings.

I got a good long pair of rapala pliers for bigger fish and forceps for trout.

Come on melvinp I was counting on you for this one haha. I heard someone getting them on a nymph pattern but gotta play with them. So far no crayfish pattern has work. Some say brown buggers but never works for me. I was thinking the black ops, the hybrid, or carp bug. To start.
