Just thought I’d say something as that what it comes up on the computer. Glad to see you fixed it. It wasn’t a big deal but at least it might get newer members to join.
The site looks good maybe you won’t have to do to much work on it now.
Something else I had to figure out myself when I got into fly tying. Now if I like the hooks I’ll keep the bags or storage containers they come in so I can easily find them again.
First I would change the cast to a roll cast and let more line sit in the water. That should not make it reel past the tapered section. Is it tapered at both ends cause if you get a big fish on and takes it to your backing and gets stuck you’ll lose a fish. I would just trim that section.
You say your casting as a controlled pitch would you say your casting more side to side. Also when you pull the line in your going past the tapered section.
I’ve been trying to look it up so I’m glad you said something since every time I’ve been looking it comes to fish and boat websites and a couple other forums that are dead. So I’ll keep looking for ya.
As for other members I’m sure our members can push a little advertising the site. I know...
First off thanks for putting me in the pro section but I think I’m far from one lol. My setup is a little unconventional as I run a straight main (run) line all the way threw it’s not tapered. Then I run a 20lb mono line like a foot or 2 barrel swivel. From there I can change to my small 4lb...
No need for this one if I made it bigger I might have added one. Usually when a musky or pike hit them, they have so much suction when they open their mouth it will go right in.
Not sure on that since I’m not familiar with the wire. Does it hold the bends you would put in it. As long as it is thick as a smaller hook shank. The wire can’t be easy to bend. You need it strong so you can tie on it.
