I’ve been there done that. But sometimes those people who come up with the recipe can’t make the equipment they use and have to use what others come up with. I like to do it all.

I use a lot of eagle claw hooks myself. Yes they do rust if you do not dry your flies out. I always hate buying hooks cause I’m getting picky at what kinds I want. There’s thick, thin, long shanks, bead hooks, dry hooks, etc.
Rod racks have all kinds of options. I have a round one. With the reels off I can fit up tp 30 rods in it. So basically my older rods go in and the ones I use stay out.
