I do on my trout rigs. I do have backer line on the reels. I don't use swivels, or leaders, just tie everything to the floro.

Went to the flea market today, looking for mitchell reela, no luck. I did find 2 tubes of reel butter for $3.00 = savings of about $12.00. I do like hot sauce grease better but for the $$$I'll use it. The beads were free from my go to vendor.
