My friend has the Stadic model. I bought the Nasci because it was cheaper, and I have to watch my spending money. Well we compaired them, and he now has a couple Nasci's. We saw no diddereanc in the too, except cost. Is Shimano trying to sell more reels at a cheaper cost??

Yeah they are Penn 4400"s & Shimano 4000 NASCI'S.

I think this takes us back to the conversation, do stink baits work. I'm a gulp alive guy, I save old juice and put the rubber in it, even my trout magnets. I catch a fair amount of fish, so if it's not broken keep working it.

I went scouting a creek yesterday, to take a couple guys fishing, that haven't fished in years. Well I found a couple deep hole holding fish, I did keep 5 for the Croix. Mix of browns & bows all but one were fatties.

Anyone know if there is a tent campsite ner=ar by? Plan on breaking out the 10 person tent and 12 X12 pop up this year.

Guess the hook jaw wasn't use to creek life. The nose was all banged up.

Got out trout fishing today, creek was still running fast. Managed to catch 8, 5 rainbows & 3 browns. All were pretty nice fish. Since they only stock big ones, for opening day. Got em all on a gold Panther Martin. Couldn't keep the trout magnets down. Once again Croix will eat good.

Yeah I only see a hand full of people fish now. More but not alot on weekends, in years past. But the day of the stocking and next day, it's like opening day all over again. Caught 6 more rainbows today. total of 22 so far and all rainbows.

Gremcat that's great!!!! Love seeing kids catch fish. I got out this morning with light rain, stayed nice and dry and the tempature was nice at 44 no wind. Ended up catching 7 and kept these 5. So far all 18 fish were rainbows.

About to head out trout fishing. Taking a chance that my $1.50 store poncho, is enough this morning.
