Dicks Sporting Goods had some clearance deals. I got the 13 Kalon O Blackout 2.0 reel for $29 and the rod for $15. Normally $160 for the pair. I also scored a Lews ML $80 rod for $17. I had a St Croix Bass X rod for $48 but they ran out of stock. Good thing I sold a lot of older gear lol

I went out Friday to Shohola. It was a 2 Pickerel grind for my efforts. They were both cold and dark. I'm ready for a break then next year it's time to put a better effort in.

Fished the shore at Lackawanna on Sat, 1 fish. Walked a stream in Tobyhanna, 1 fish (pictured). Fishing is ending with a whimper for me.

Don, I've fished it in a kayak multiple times, once in a monsoon. Very deep and we struggle with that but nice lake and worth checking out.

Did a little fishing in the rain today. Solid day despite the conditions. Crappie were biting. I have panfish dialed with an underspin jig head and 2" paddle tail. Steady bite until I quit.

The more I use that combo the more I appreciate it, especially for 50% off. DSG still had it on discount, good representation of Lews stuff.

The main launch. The road is awful, the launch is so-so and once you back in there is a giant dip that forces you to creep in. We saw a guy have his 14fter slide off his trailer because of it and hit his 9.9 a few weeks back. Awesome lake though, loaded with Panfish. Supposedly there's walleye...

There was a tourney at Prompton Saturday. Parking lot was full. Not sure how they faired? I destroyed the panfish with an underspin paddle tail. Hit the weed edge, count to 4, slow retrieve, catch, release, repeat.
