I don't buy combos but DSG had the Lews Custom Black combo for 50% off. I fished it and it's solid. It doesn't feel like a $200 combo but again solid over all in a medium rod and this reel size.

I used the EGO 18" today, it is no frigging joke. The battery is next level. I dropped and cut up a slim 35ft tree and started cutting up another tree that fell before it ran out of juice. It cut as good as any gas saw I've had. It's only limited by the battery. If I had a spare battery I'd be set.

So all good things come to an end...mostly because the OT ended. I sold the Polaris Ranger pretty quick, selling the jet boat next, my 5x8 Karavan trailer and the yaks/trailer to clean up debt and ready myself for what may come under new ownership. I'm tired of payments, its exhausting. I did...

Solid day on the stream. Caught my PB best Fallfish, never saw one this size it fought like a trout lol Next cast was a 15 inch+ smallie. I cast in that spot a good 8 times before they bit. Persistence pays off, so does knowing landmarks that always produce.
