Trout were just out of reach from the shore so I threw on my waders on and braved the cold. Caught about 10 trout and this decent perch before losing feeling g in my hands and face lol

Finally got into some trout. I was rain soak, caught and released this one at the very end. Said "thank you God for that" and called it good. Solid fish to start the season and 4 days off to get some more.

We tried this AM at Tobyhanna. Not one soul at the lake (aka smart ones). Sustained brutal winds, biting cold and a few casts into it, I gave up. Worst opening weekend possibly ever and I might be dealing with a rotator issue now, it has been hurting all weekend. Great all around year so far lol

Total suck fest. Tobyhanna was shut down. We tried 2 other spots and managed a few. Garbage opener but hey, it is open.

No early starts and camping for a spot in rain and 57mph gusts. We will give it a try but definitely not a boat weekend. Good luck to all!

We rarely ever anchor up or troll. I spent years in the back of the boating working the motor. Having a seat and a foot control is a game changer for me.

It's nice honestly. We used the kayaks twice last year. It wrecks my back. I kick myself because there were 2 options for boats when I bought this one. I should have went a little bigger but the bow is set up perfectly for long days on the water.

Got it for Xmas and decided to start getting ready for the season. I hated not being organized, this should do nicely as I only take 2-3 set ups max and they get in the way on a smaller boat. The cockpit is set up with drink holders, rod holders and a tool organizer. Now to deep clean the rig...

Got a single bump on the fly. Switch to a spinner and got rewarded instantly. Never monsters but something better about wild trout from unstocked streams.

We use them and everything bites them, especially those Panfish. We don't use the hair jig styles much. Typically curly tails or paddle tails. We caught bass, panfish, Pickerel and even large trout. It might be my go to lure.

I didn't need bifocals to see them lose! Wait. I can't talk that much trash, it was a great game with 2 great teams....but it ended as God intended. lol
