I usually just cut a little higher up then hurry up and tie a knot. There are times I’ve just burn the line when switching lures. A lot easier then cutting.

Don't forget to troll some flies. Maybe minnow patterns.

Actually Don it's a lot easier to cut then you think. Cutting braid say with up and down motion like scissors is hard or clippers. What you want is a sharp edge and go side to side like slicing it. What's funny is people think it's really strong but fish it in some rocks it gets pretty beaten...

Still to early for the trout and salmon. Only caught some largemouth bass. In the great lake Ontario.

I’m not into spin caster so really can’t help you on the first one. As for the second it sounds silly but nothing wrong with it. If it catches fish and works for you than what’s wrong with it. Some bass maybe (depends where your fishing). Pickerel not so much.

What will you be trolling ? Some lures don’t even need that cause they dive deep themselves. For live bait this could help.

Do you let it dry before you fish it or just fish it right away.

I’m not sure what happened TS but my reply box on my tablet, is not showing any of the tools on the top box. They come in shaded grey and I can’t click on them anymore. What’s funny is it all shows up on my phone. It happened a couple days ago when I posted a pic.

Buy them plain then go spray paint them some different colors to try.
