I have found sometimes bigger hooks work better cause the trout can’t swallow them as easy as smaller. Better for cpr.

I’ve used steel leaders in the store and used them at first. They put swivels on them and all my fly did was spin lol.

It’s a wire that you can run your own leaders and put your own knots in it. Can’t remember the name but if I think of it illl post back. Melvin told me about it and works great.
