We got the old man out on Tobyhanna early. We all had multiple pickerel but I managed 2 Bass (16.25" best) and a solid Perch. The active fish was nice but the best part was getting my Dad out there. He's slowing way down so these trips are a bit more special.

Hit Shohola early and everything bit today. Multi-species, multi-double hook ups and Shiela hooked into what we can give our best guess as a monster Trout. I don't believe they stock Shohola so I'm assuming the stream they stock dumps into Shohola? It jumped and spit the lure, pure heart break...

I was at my last job 12 years, this one 17. I don't bounce from place to place but I also broke and can't stay quiet. I love what I worked for but I'd sell it in a heartbeat for an easier life. It'll work out, I just put an official stamp on when the bullshit stops which is now.

Lost my fear today. Addressed something that's been eating at me for 17 years in my work life. If it goes poorly, give me a few days and I'll have other things to post about that I lost lol (and a bunch of things go up for sale)

I prefer previously chewed worms. I only discard a worm when the tail action isn't there. That goes for new worms too, if they don't work they get replaced. Kind of how the work force was before things changed.

Yesterday we hit Shohola. Don would be happy, steady Pickerel bite and Shiela got a Bluegill. Today I walked an artificial only stream and struck out.

Same here. I'll fish through rain before wind. We aren't anchor up type boaters. This weekend sucked with the wind. Today was no different, but from the shore it was ok. I had the wind at my back which made long fly casts easier for being a novice.

Destroyed them today. Didn't get much fishing in on a 4 day weekend. Hit a small pond near me and it was lights out. 30+ on spinning gear another 20+ on fly gear. I haven't had a day of fishing like today in a year or 2. At one point I think I had 10 consecutive trout. I feel as though I've...

My Feelfree Lure has a pod in the center. Right now it has a fish finder mounted to it but they have a pedal drive. I wish I could find that used some where cheap.

I like Quantum reels. The Accurist is a good reel but not super smooth after time even with routine maintenance. My favorite reel is the S3 Smoke. I think I have 6-7 reels from Quantum including salt.

Metals usually 1/4 oz, for lighter lures I have other rods. This one will be perfect for top water, heavier plastics, etc. Over all medium rods cover much of what I need or do.

Surprisingly flexible. I was afraid it'd be too stiff but that isn't the case.

I have a Feelfree Lure 11.5 and Shiela has Perception Pescador Pro. We had Shadow Casters before them. They were barges, Gander Outdoors was closing and had crazy clearance pricing so we gave them a try. Definitely lighter but track like garbage. We were spinning out of control today.

I'll be honest. My back is killing me, paddling 6-7 times for one cast before you paddle again is frustrating. Ever see the Ascend 133x? I'm liking the idea of a trolling motor powered yak more and more (just not the price tag).
